What's the difference between a divan bed and an ottoman bed?
Divan beds are a particular kind of bed that typically have two connected box bases. An ottoman bed, on the other hand, is a kind of storage bed that uses a gas-powered lift mechanism to raise and show the area beneath. A divan bed can be converted into an ottoman divan bed by adding an ottoman lift mechanism, however a regular ottoman bed cannot be converted into a divan bed!
